This is a tremendous vintage Navajo huge turquoise silver concho belt. This museum quality piece is one of the finest concho belts we have collected. This piece came from a collector who had three similar belts by the same artist, they are just incredibly rare. This absolutely phenomenal concho belt consists of some of the largest Royston turquoise stones we have seen on a concho belt with the average stone measuring around 3" X 2-3/4". The mind blowing buckle measures around 4" X 3-1/4". The surrounding silver works that surround the stones are impressive including wave works, raindrops, stems and ropes. The belt contains a total of 7 conchos all being very large. The belt measures a mind blowing 55" long. Signed by Navajo artist, Les Nez . Sterling silver, marked. Cir. 1970's+. Sturdy 896 grams.
